| 06-4-2009 - Things are going Ok | My mood while writing this blog:Ok |
Hi everyone. Just a quick update as to how things are going with my specialist appointment. I talked some more this morning with the doctor's nurse and didn't get anywhere. Finally, I accepted the appointment day of April 16, 2009, at 1:40pm. I called my hubby and told him that I'd just have to go be myself. He sounded distracted at work, so we hung up. He called me back a little later and told me he was going with me. I was surprised and asked how that was going to work as his main employee is gone and the other guys are out in the trucks and my inlaws are gone to the nephew's surgery. He simply told me he gave his dad a choice. He can either shut the store for the day or his dad can stay and run the store. As it was my father-in-law's choice, he chose to stay at the store. My mother-in-law and both the nephew's parents will be at the surgery, so he figured he could miss it and come that evening as we should be back to run the store the next day (hopefully, if they don't want to do more testing). Anyways, I was so happy that my hubby put his foot down without me even asking/hinting.
Also, wish me luck. My parents are coming to visit (Tuesday-Friday) of this week before heading home from a vacation in San Fransisco. My mother is a very hard person to be around and is especially nasty to hubby. In fact she wouldn't even hardly talk to me after I moved out at 17 until I had a child 3 1/2 years ago. Hubby has been extremely busy cleaning the house before they come. Although, I did make arrangements for them to stay at a local hotel to give him some peace. Poor guy, after this he might be ready for sainthood, but don't tell him that. It might go to his head. Lol.
Seriously, thanks to everyone who has been so supportive over my high risk/specialist appointment problems. Thanks bunches and God Bless.
