25-7-2009 - OUCH! SoreMy mood while writing this blog:
Sore

Hi everyone!

If some of you got answers from me on out of date messages, I'm sorry. I've been offline for about a week with a dislocated elbow and sprained arm. I fell at a birthday party last weekend and used my left arm to protect my belly. I went to the ER about 5 hours later as it hurt SO bad. No breaks...thank God! They checked Mark and he still was kicking away. The doctor told me about 6-8 weeks to heal my arm completely. Mark is coming in about 4 weeks and I keep praying my arm is healed well enough by then to hold him! It already feels a bit better and I've quit using the prescription pain killers they gave me (just using over the counter tylenol), so I'm hoping that it's healing fast. Still can't use my arm though and I'm supposed to keep it in a sling for another week. Hubby is less than happy about it as I'm relying on his help for lots of things. He's really very short with me and our daughter. Hope his mood improves as I'll need his support for the upcoming c-section. Yikes! Hope all of you ladies are doing well. Take care and God Bless.

That sucks.... Let's pray that your arm heals quickly. And you be careful (us preganant women can be clumsy at times) but take it easy !

oh man, i'm so sorry to hear that! hang in there - just think about the stories you'll be able to tell your son some day about his last weeks in utero! i hope your husband's attitude improves, too. good luck!

I'm sorry to hear about your fall but I'm glad all will be well. Please stay put and just let hubby know how grateful you are for his help. Give him a lot of public praise.
