14-7-2009 - crazy emotions and the week's wrap up

Hey everyone! I hope you ladies are all doing well today! So Im now 5 weeks pregnant. We are SOOOOOOOOOO excited! This week we broke the news to my side of the family. It went really well! Everyone seems genuinely happy and excited. I was so excited to tell everyone. Now this week we are focusing on telling Mikes side of the family. I am nervous. I do not know if they will be as excited as my family is. They are very traditional so......

Our wedding is August 14th. Exactly a month away! Wow that really flew by. Mike was thinking about making a mass announcement at the wedding... but since we already told my family, I think it would only be fair to tell his now as well. I have no problem with making an additional announcement at the wedding but I think our close family members should know in advance....what do y'all think?

Ive been feeling very tired lately. And at times I can feel myself getting crazy and picking up an attitude towards poor Mike. AHAH! I totally notice it, yet can do nothing to stop it?! Its the craziest thing.

But all in all, Im so excited and I can not wait to start really noticing the changes in my body. Im thrilled for my first appointment on July 31st. Mike is being great and I cant wait to complete this journey and chapter in our lives with him.

Aww I just wanna hug you. It's very difficult men just don't realize what it's like having heavy weight and all the other lovely things that pregnancy brings. I wish I could help you with your house work and you with mine :P We'd make a great team. lol
As for the hormones I so know what you mean, I feel like I'm doing alright for that but it sucks when your b/f's friends are asking him if I've bitched out yet and they all talk about it. Just because we get told we're hormonal when we're pregnant doesn't mean guy's don't bitch out either. Let alone it be easy living with one. Just keep hanging in there, soon the baby will be here and everything else won't matter as much you'll be so into the baby. Hope this helps, it's so great having someone on the same page as me. I felt so alone untill you posted me :)

I know how you feel about the mood swings! Its weird..I know im being rude and unreasonable but I cant help it lol! oh well its the hormones. The next second im laughing and having a good time. Ive been really tired, but also learning to cope with it. a 15 month old really gives you no choice...xpecially one that doesnt nap!! but all that gets better in the second trimester!

aw i am happy ur side of the family took it well!! We told my side last week and i new they would take it well but my hubbys family on the other handn lol we told them yesterday every one took it well but my mother in law she said she was disapointed that we r having another so soon. But i swear i saw a twingle in her eye that she was happy. I was 10 weeks pregnant when me and hubby got married. All the wedding party and our family new becaus i was so sick there was no hidding it and by the end of the wedding everyone else new lol and we didnt even anounce it. Rumors travel fast :).
