20-11-2009 - wow 24 weeks!

Well hello there! How is everyone doing? Good I hope! I can not believe Im 24 weeks already!! Time is flyyyyyying! Im feeling my little girl Farrah move all the time now!! And holy smokes she is getting s-t-r-o-n-g! Its amazing. I even feel her up by my belly button sometimes. I guess the only thing I have to complain about is the acid reflux/heartburn thing. UGH IT SUCKS! I never had it before I was pregnant so at first I was like wtf is this?!?! Its really annoying and painful, but, Im dealing. Other than that things are going great. Mike and I have started planning the nursery. The theme is purple and stars. Trying to stay away from too much pink. Nothing against it, its just not my thing. We are going to paint her room a light purple and stencil different colored stars on the wall with swirlies. Ive started to make my registry for my baby showers (im having one in Texas where I live now with my husband. His family lives down here too, and Im having another in Chicago where my family resides) There's so much stuff to pick out its a bit overwhelming! Another thing Im excited about is that we are getting her bedding custom made, so Ive started designing that as well to go along with the whole purple and star theme. Her nursery is going to be awesome! I cant wait to see it all finished. My husband has time off of work from now until christmas, paid (lucky bastard!!!!) so he said that he will work on the nursery during his time off. YAY! Well I think thats all for now, my next appt isnt until December but so far so good! Have a good weekend ladies. xoxoox

glad things are going good :) im 22 months and even the last week i have felt more movements..i can just imagine at 24 lol. glad your nursery is comin along. sounds like its gona be beautiful :)

I feel baby Jack up by my rib almost. I read at the 25 weeks baby growth report, my uterus is in between my belly button and my sternum and it's the size of a soccer ball! It's awesome to feel our babies all the time now huh!

i know i cant belive i will be 24 weeks on monday istnt it amazzing to think if our little ones where born right now they would have a chance at livving?? but for there sakes i hope they stay put for while longer. i have had two premmies and its not fun.

Great to hear you're doing well. Nursery sounds cool. I don't know what I'm having so we're going with a jungle theme, have a thing for giraffes! So there are giraffes everywhere as well as lions & tigers & bears. My hubby points out that you don't get all these animals in the jungle but DO I CARE? Nope! We want photos when its done! xx
