06-5-2009 - Names IndecisiveMy mood while writing this blog:
Indecisive

What to name our son? I really didn’t think it would be as hard as it is. My husband is the 3rd and we knew right away we were not going to choose the 4th. We had two girl names picked out but didn’t even think about a boy name. Well, we still have a lot of time but I am now in my 23rd week and still no name. My idea was to have two names that we really liked and decide after we meet him. But, we are having a hard time choosing one let alone two.

The first name we liked was Ryder but we were not sold on it and then my friend who is due two weeks before me decided to name her son Ryder, so out that went. We really like Jaxon Alexander aka Jax, and it has been the first name that we both equally agree upon. We like that it is a cute name for when he is little and a strong name as an adult. I know it’s only our decision but so far only a few friends seem to really like it, everyone else has been like “oh, Jaxon, its ok”. I was thinking that once people meet him they would think that his name was fitting.

As of now it looks like we are still on the hunt. Anyone else still having a hard time choosing a name?

We had a hard time choosing a boy name, though the girl name came really easy. We went to the name section on parentsconnect.com and got a plethora of ideas. We finally decided on Isaac Anthony, which we absolutely love now. The site helped a lot, but before that, I was definitely losing sleep over the name!! Good luck! And if I may offer my 2 cents, I like the name Jaxon/Jax :)

We had the first name Gunner picked out if ours was to be a boy and had no girls names picked out. And we are having a girl.
