17-11-2009 - 36 week appointment

I've gained 3lbs in the last 2 weeks...so now weigh 161lbs. I am 36 weeks, 2 days prego. Only 5 more days until it could be any day! Heart rate of the baby was 160...which I thought was pretty high. Maybe it's a girl? Who knows! I asked the midwife to feel my tummy and guess how much she thought the baby weighs right now and she said about 6lbs 14 oz! I said "ok, this baby better come out in two weeks!" I DO NOT want to have to push out another almost 10 pounder, so if we could get this show on the road, the sooner the better.

She'll check my cervix at 37 weeks, and then we decided that at my 38 week appointment she'll strip my membranes to see if we can move things along. I definetely want a December baby...

All is well, my birthday in next week along with Thanksgiving and then decorating for Christmas! After that, the baby is welcome to come anytime! Yay!

My God Mamacas, I can't believe it has gone this fast. I remember TTC with you late last year early 2009. I wish I was 161 pounds not pregnant. Lol. I was 138 prior to bub one. The swelled to a huge 182. I started losing it, but just gained six pounds with the miscarriage I had. Currently at 169 unpregnant! You look so beautiful in your pics. Hope it all goes well for you. I still think it is a boy. You look so out in front in the picks! All the best. x

I never thought to ask my midwife how much she thought the baby may weigh..?? i shall ask her next visit!Sounds like your travelling well, i hope we all get our bundles a week or two sooner too..Its your birthday next week? Mine is on the 3rd dec.. maybe we'll get our babies for our birthdays ? Im so excited.. look after you!!
