25-9-2009 - A question about breech babies

My mood while writing this blog:
just dandy

So at every appointment since the beginning (even at my ultrasound) my baby has been breech. It's butt is near my cervix, his/her legs are tucked up...I will be 29 weeks this Sunday. My midwife says she doesn't start to worry until about 34 weeks...but I am worried now! I want to know other people's experience with a baby that was butt down breech, when did they turn? Let me know, thanks!

This is so normal. Most babies do not turn anywhere from 30-33 weeks.

My girl was sitting cross legged - feet on bladder up until about 3 weeks ago.. now she is literally sideways, her back is facing my tummy and her head is to the left and feet to the right. My midwife says she is half way there! But said by 32-34 wks she should hopefully be head down.. dont worry too much, even if she doesnt make it there in the next few weeks apparently there are things they can do to turn them.. not sure what they are, but ive heard it should be ok and not to worry..

I haven't but Isaac was in the transverse postion and then moved on his own by 34-36 weeks. I doctor told me the samething. All was well with my little one so don't freak out : )

Well I never have experianced this... BUT I had a good friend who did and she would do pelvic rock excersises to get the baby to flip.... as far as I know this works.

when i was preg, sav kept flipping around right up until a week before she was born! i hope baby flips around for u closer to the duedate but for now, try not to worry hun!
