13-6-2008 - Friday the 13th

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

So, I'm a teacher and this is supposed to be my vacation, but today I was scheduled, on my anniversary, to have a meeting with the principal. So I got to school, and the power goes out. The principal and I walked the campus and found no problems, so we went back to the office to "wait it out" and have our meeting. Well, with no power, comes no heat, and in Florida in June, that is unbearable. So, we decided to postpone our meeting, which was good, because I was meeting with a co-worker 10 minutes later to discuss a project that we are working on. So, with no power, we went to the media center to work and the power FINALLY came back on. No more than 5 minutes later, the fire alarm started going off. Normally no big deal, but the principal came on and said "Everyone evacuate the building." So of course... the school was on fire. Not too much damage, but a BIG fiasco. I spent the first half of my day talking with district personnel and firemen. Some anniversary. Hopefully it will get better. Is anyone else having a better Friday the 13th?

not really hunn me well i just got out of a job interview and didn't go soo well and then had to come home then i have to go out there and mow the grass and it is lik 100degrees out side and yeh i don't even get to be with my hubbie any today because he is with his dad.... Buhhhh but ohh well these days happen i guess!! i hope that your day GETS BETTER!!!
