05-8-2009 - Fertility Consultation

My mood while writing this blog: Relieved

Well we went to our first fertility consultation today. It went so much better than I could have ever imagined! The doctors were so nice and they just let me tell them my story and then they asked questions and actually listened to my responses. It was such a great experience compared to how my last doctor was.

Anyway, I go in next week for some blood tests (Progesterone and Thyroid I think) then I call the doc on CD1 and let him know AF arrived (he gave me his cell number to let him know!) then I think they want to do some untrasounds. I am really excited about these docs because they know how important it is to me to find out why first and then medicate if necessary. I told them I was super sensitive to drugs and they said that they would just give me smaller doses if it got to that point. I am just so glad that they listened to me and took my concerns and opinions seriously! What a relief!

So, that is my update. Thanks so much to everyone that has commented and know that I am so grateful when you do-even if I don't get a response back to you right way. Life is busy lately so I have a hard time sending little messages-I will try to be better about it though.
