Well, I went to the Dr. yesterday. I was supposed to have a fetal fibronectin test and an ultrasound to measure my cervical length, but some brilliant person scheduled the ultrasound before the fetal fibronectin test and due to the fact that the ultrasound was vaginal and the gel they use for it can effect the results of the test, they were unable to do the test. No change on the bedrest issue. Been having alot of contractions today. My regular midwife I was seeing retired and now I have to see someone else, which I am not real happy about since they dont really know me or my history as well as she did! :( I dont go back for another four weeks unless I have more complications, which I probably will (contractions today). I really wish they had been able to do the test to put my mind at ease cause if it is positive, then it is likely I will have the baby within the next 2 weeks and if negative would show I have less than 1% chance of delivering in the next two weeks. My cervical length was 3.4 which they say is a good place for me to be at this gestation, so I guess that is good. I guess it is just a wait and see game at this point.
