12-3-2009 - 36 wk. update...no birthday baby for me :(

My mood while writing this blog: excited!!!

So i went to my appt. today and got to get "swabbed"....he didnt open me up or nothing just swabbed the vagina and called it a day...then he did the finger check and im a cm dilated...im pretty sure thats the fingertip....he said im a fingertip dilated...chris' heartbeat was 142 bpm...i did end up with some minor contractions after the check but they are gone now...lil chris hid for the moment and now he's pawing at my ribs and hips *at the same time too* i dont think he liked being poked in the head... anyways...the big news... i cant have him on my birthday bc for some reason ohio has it to wear if you do it even a day before your 39 wks you have to get an amniocentisis...im not cool on that...id rather wait another day than be stuck with the big needle...i couldnt even bear to watch that!! soooo...my doctors birthday is around that time too and i really want him to deliver and ya know how doc's are...vacation vacation vacation!! he'll be gone that whole week so we went with March 30th *that monday basically* to bear my son...im definitly excited...i know its not my birthday but its close enough and oddly enough i really dont feel like i did earlier with the whole regret later on down the road...fate chose this date...right?!?!?!? and if its to be sooner it will be sooner....

Woohoo 18 days and counting...or 2 wks and 4 days...whichever!!!
