27-4-2009 - 1 month today!!! feeding issues...

My mood while writing this blog:

ok..so jr. is a month old today and im thinking he's needing another oz in his bottle...i dont know though...he's already eating 4 oz and sometimes he only eats 2 1/2...it seems a little early for him to be eating 5 oz...but if thats what he needs thats what ill give...anybody else have a piggy??? lol...he is growing so well and filling out his clothes nicely...they are still big but he's working on that... wow i cant believe my baby is a month old already!!

so the weightloss has officially stalled...i lost 29 lbs after i had jr. and then gained back 7....sux...yes it does...i think i might try some pilates today... i mean...its all about the comfort zone and if i feel rough ill stop...i really have healed up wonderfully this time around...its just that i have so much work to do now especially since my stomach muscles are gone...rebuilding will take F.O.R.E.V.E.R!!!!

hey, my babys doctor told me that as long as the baby doesnt spit everything up after the feeding, then the amount they're taking in is fine ;)
also, i had an emergency c-section delivery and i needed a blood transfusion after the operation... i'm 8 weeks PP and it still hurts me when i try to work out.. it sucks!!

Did your ab muscles seperate? There are some exercises you can do to get them to get back together. Mine separated.

Hiya...not sure exactly how much my boy eats cos he does part breast part formula supplement...but I just got a little feeding guide card today that says that between 1-2 months old the average feed is between 4-5oz...so sounds like your guy is doing OK...my pediatrician always says that our baby will guide us and take what he needs. You may want to offer what you think he'll take and then if he keeps mouthing afterward give a little more...not to waste.

I am also kind of stressing about being flabby...I am used to being skinny with ab muscles and now I just look like a podge!! Can't wait to get in the gym again...but I am having a bit of a slow recovery. My baby is one month and 10 days today :-) Aren't that just adorable?? :-)
