12-12-2008 - This could only happen to me.

My mood while writing this blog:
Ok

So, yesterday I had to take my little doggie to get groomed. While she was getting groomed, I was getting groceries. (Walmart is very near the groomers) A lot of frozen things, and just basically easy things we can make when the baby arrives! Well, after I finished I was going to pick up my pup. But the groomers called and said she wouldn't be ready until after 7:00. It was like 5:00 at this time. And, I was checking out! Well, so I just decide to drive all the way home. (20 minutes) put up the groceries, come back and pick her up!!! It WAS POURING RAIN here! So, I pulled up in my driveway and I was going to turn around and back up to the back door. MY HUSBAND HAS OUR GARAGE PACKED W/ CRAP AND I CAN'T PULL IN THERE! Well, I had to turn around in the yard!!! I GOT STUCK!!!!!!! I drive a Navigator and being in a hurry didn't think about how HEAVY it is. I've turned around in the rain a zillion times out there. But, I used to have a smaller car. lol... so anyways, my back tires really sunk!!! I had to walk the distance of about an acre in the pouring rain with the groceries to get in the house. lol.... I was pissed at first, but realized something like this would only happen to me and I couldn't help but laugh! My husband came home and we rode in his car to pick up our doggie. And, this morning a neighbor brought his tractor and pulled my truck out of the mud... lol... So, I'm about to go to the car wash... Just thought I would share a little something that I thought was funny w/ everybody! Let me tell you, by the time i got all the groceries in, my pants, shoes and socks were brown and soaked!!! It did kinda make me want to go muddin... lol

I thought you were going to say your water broke at that time...oh, that would've been not so good! I keep thinking it's going to happen to me because I had my son at 37 weeks and I was about to go to bed (after a friend's party that lasted late) at midnight and my husband had a few beers and was totally out and my water broke! It was crazy timing. I just know I will be somewhere inconvienient and it will happen.

hahahah Ok I am laughing with you bc we, too, have a Navigator...we just got an Extended L and the same thing happened to me about a month back(minus the groceries) and I was soooooooooooo pissed! Glad you and the Navi are ok!

We always think that things could only happen to us and can't help but laugh. Ohhhh muddin sounds fun right bout now. At least everything is fine and dandy now. Take care...LOL!

Oh, you poor thing! It would only happen to a pregnant lady! LOL!! I bet your husband thought it was the cutest thing, :) How are you feeling? You did a great job with your nursey! She's going to be a little princess! You look beautiful by the way! Oh, and mudding is so much fun!! HA-HA!
