Good morning ladies, thought id give you a little update on what it going on.
Saw the midwife on thursday and she was not happy that the doctor had not sent me for a scan to check after the bleed, so on friday i went for one. everything is all good with the baby heartbeat beating good and growing well, so over the moon with that.
but we were told that this pregnancy did start as a twin one, she showed us where the second sac was and that there was still something in it, so not to worry if i had another bleed as this is what it would be. so all in all good and bad news, im glad she told us as at least now we know why i bled, we are sad that the other baby did not make it and we will tell the one that has that he/she was a twin.
i am feeling lots better now, and getting ready to move to germany in march, hope you are all doing good lots of love mandy xxxxx

Oh gosh, I'm sorry to hear that.The surviving baby will be all the more loved I'm sure & think it's lovely you will still let him/her know that they were a twin.Make sure you get someone in to pack up and clean the house when you move - you just supervise!!

so sad to hear that , but glad the other twin is doing great i cant even imagine what its like to loss a child hope all goes smoothly the rest of your pregnancy

awww bless you hunny..it is a doubled edged sword..On one hand it is good that the baby is all good and growing well..and bad that his/her twin did not make it...they say alot of babys are concieved as twins but the other one does not make it and by the time we get the first scan you can not tell..I'm happy that you are having a healthy baby though..and you can always tell them about there brother/sister when they are older...never know..now you know twins run in the family..you might get twin grandbabies..take care hun..xx
