| 07-7-2008 - Pregnancy Update July 7 |  My mood while writing this blog:Ok |
Baby Update:
I am 17 weeks and 2 days along in my pregnancy. I had my monthly appt today. My blood pressure was good ,90 over something. It's always under a 100 when I go on a vacation day versus going in from work. I was pleased that I have only gained 9 pounds so far. (2 # since my last appt a month ago). We'll see how lucky I am the remainder of my pregnancy with weight gain. The baby's heart rate was the same as last time 158-160. I also had some routine blood tests that test for Down Syndrome and other Neural Tube Defects.(Those results come back by the end of the week).
Then I go back on August 4th for the most exciting appt so far! I get an ultrasound and as long as the legs are not closed; we find out the gender of our first baby! I can't wait! Either way I will be happy with a healthy baby. My Mom, Stepmom, and Mother-In-Law think I am having a girl, but only time will tell. I haven't had an intuition yet of what I think I am having. I will just have to wait and find out. Either way I will be saving receipts-my friend was told she was having her 3rd girl, and she ended up having a boy! I think I am going to get alot of neutral items that way I can use them for future children regardless of the gender.
Well, that's all I have to say for now. The next blog will be on August 4th. Other than that, I won't post much on here. I like to keep things in the online world to a minimum.
