09-7-2008 - UPDATE ON MARLEY AND HER SICK MOMMY

My mood while writing this blog: Thankful

Hello to everyone!!! Soooooo.....the infection from my C-Section incision is healing very quickly. I am still not 100 percent but I am feeling so much better. I can't wait to get back to the old me....I miss her. =) I still have an in home nurse coming every other day to check and make sure everything is healing correctly. I am coming to terms with having a C-Section and the horrendous infection and recovery.....although there is some disappointment lingering. I am thankful that it was me sick and not my daughter. Thank God for my husband!!!! He has been my rock through it all. Every single tear, every single pain, every single sob of my broken heart that was missing my daughter.....he was there reminding me of my own strength. Encouraging me so that I could push through all the pain and disappointment. He is such a blessing.

Now for Miss Marley Rae!!! She is just too perfect!!! Her pediatrician said that in her 20 years of practicing she has only seen a few babies that are as strong and advanced as Marley is. She has been able to hold her head up since she was 2 weeks....like seriously holds up her head by herself. She is already pushing herself up with her hands and has damn near turned over in her bassinet. She is so amazing and an absolute joy in our lives. I would go through everything again in a heart beat for her. Thank you all so much for your prayers and thoughts...y'all brought me back home to my baby girl.....and who wouldn't want to come home to this face?
