07-1-2010 - Get there 4 my appt n he rescheduled my U/S!!

My mood while writing this blog: impatient but trying hard...

Here's the deal,

My husband and I have felt like it has taken FOREVER for the last three weeks to go by but there it was...Jan 5. My husband took the day off and I got off of work early and we went to my appointment. We sat there SUPER EXCITED and didn't mind the wait too much. After all, we had already waited this long. So, they call us back there, do all of the usual stuff, and then tell us that they had to get a preauthorization for the u/s and they didn't know so..."we'd really like to but we're not going to be able to do it today. We'll send in the request and I'll just have to call you when I get it"

Here I sat, trying REALLY hard to not get upset. I mean, we haven't seen "Bean" since 8 wks! And all this time I got myself so pumped about this and really had my heart set on seeing my baby. Didn't happen...ugh.

The worst part is, my husband had a tough time getting off of work this day and it's not likely that he'll be able to be there when I do finally get my u/s. He's trying not to show it but I can tell it really bothers him. I COMPLETELY understand, it's his baby in there too, you know?

So they went ahead and scheduled an appointment for next Tuesday at 2 and she hopes that they'll be able to do it then. She said she'd call so...I'm waiting.
