03-11-2009 - The sweetest sound i have ever heard

I ordered the doppler on sunday and thought my new toy wouldn't arrive untill next week, but there i was sitting at my desk and in walks the delivery man!

It took all my strengh not to open it in the showroom and get that bad boy out and try it, but no i was good i call Michael and waited till about 2 seconds after we walked through the door, baggy trousers on and doppler out let the hunt begin. I think it took me about 5 minutes to find but when i heard that sweet sweet sound i nearly started to cry, Michael was next followed by a phone call to mum, then my friend and then running up the stairs to my big brothers girlfriend who is a nurse to see if i was going mad. Well fi lasted about 3 seconds before she burst into tears and said YOU ARE HAVING A BABY!! she already know but i think this has made it all the more real.

Well at least now every night i can listen in to what little one is up to, and now i am going to listen again.
