19-5-2009 - 34 weeks - update :(

My mood while writing this blog: really sad

I had my 34 week check up today
and everything was great.
my blood pressure is perfect and im measuring 34 cm
and the heartbeat is nice and strong.
Jayden is head down with her back along my right side
and her legs and arms on the left side of my stomach.
So basically everything is going great.
But i got really bad news when i came home from my appointment,
so im very sad, and probably am going to stay off the computer for a couple days and just cry.
When i got home i got told that my year old puppy was found in our ditch dead. :'(
this happened to us a year ago aswell so im very sad.
its a 50 km road and there isnt a busy road at all, its a dirt road.
last year it was in the winter and it someone who lives down the street and they said they couldnt stop in time.
but seriously this time they didnt have a reason.
she was a bulldog. shes not small. its not icy. its a gorgeous sunny day out so its not like they couldnt see her.
anyways. its a straight road, you can see anything on the road for a long ways. and shes slow and fat
so its not like she ran out. she doesnt run, shes lazy or i guess was lazy, im just really sad.
and if i wasnt trying to grow up i would concider slashing there tires because SERIOUSLY !
they've killed 2 of our bulldogs in A YEAR !
i only have one dog left :'(
ugh , i need to get off.

i'm sorry about your bull dog... it's sad to say but some ppl don't care to help an animal. i would definitely have a talk with them instead of slashing there tires at least if you talk to them you can get answers. i love animals very much and i hate hearing that some how an animal died in circumstances where they could have been saved. i'm sorry again for it happening and i hope can find peace in the midst of it.

ahhh honey im so sorry to hear about your dog..im an animal lover and i know how painful it can be to lose a pet...when i was twelve my brother and some neighborhood kids were playing football in the fron yard and the ball bounced across the road and our puppy went running after it and a car hit her and they didnt even stop the had the nerve to stick there hand out the window and wave!!! my poor brother took the blame on himself and didnt come home for over an hour and our neighbor was kind enough to bring the puppy to our house for us. its ridiculous how sick people can be...

I'm sorry to hear about your dog :(. About a month and a half ago our 2yr old cat suddenly got sick, and we had to put him down. It's so hard losing a pet, especially one so young and so suddenly.

I am very sorry about your doggy, my dog passed away when i was 36 weeks pregnant, it was very hard and i thought i was going into labor because i was soooo upset! So be careful not to stress yourself out too much because it will stress out your baby too!!!!! Again i am very sorry, i feel your pain!!

Hi. I'm glad your check up went well. I'm very sorry to hear about your dog. Being quite attached to my dog I can't imagine someone hitting him just because they can. Technically, you can take them to small claims court if you have any proof they hit your dog. It won't replace the dog, but they might think twice before going "hunting" for your dog again when they have to waste time in court. I truly am sorry and hope you find some peace. God Bless.

Oh im so sorry. Us animal lovers grow very attatched. They become more like children to us than animals so i feel for you. Glad the baby is doing well!!
