10-7-2008 - Kamryn\'s 2 month appt..finally!!

My mood while writing this blog: sad and relieved

My daughter finally had her shots yesterday, after all the back and forth with the insurance co...of course i video taped it..like i do just about everything...lol...(i dont have many video memories of my son)...anywho..she was sooo happy and bubbly going into the office..she weigh's 10lbs 10.5oz now and she is doing very well..she is where she should be on the charts for a 2 1/2 month old ..and then came the shots...her dr gave her an oral medication, which i believe was the polio...then they stuck her twice in each thigh...i was in tears trying to video tape with one hand and holding her thighs with the other..her father did not go to this appt. he was soooo tired from driving back from Alabama and baby sitting Kamryn.... he needed to sleep. not even a minute after her shots, she calmed down and i gave her the binky (pacifier) and she did o.k up until about 7:30 p.m..gave her tylenol and she slept all night. this morning she got up gave her a bottle ..burped her and she was her cheery self...she coo and play alot when she wakes up in the morning and i can only enjoy it briefly, because i have to get ready for work..so in between getting ready..i try to play with her and hold her as much as i can...then when i walk out the door i feel sooo guilty..but mommy has to work and i am o.k once i get there...
