21-7-2009 - 38 Week Appt!- my last checkup!

My mood while writing this blog: Excited!!!

I went for my 38 week appt today and it went great! I have lost 2 lbs, putting me back at a total gain of 12 lbs. I am proud of myself, my dr wanted me stay around the 15 mark, and without even trying I managed to do so. My mom keeps telling me that I will most definitely come out of the hospital weighing less than I did before being pregnant. She did that with both of her babies.

I am measuring at 40.5, almost 41 weeks, so baby boy is getting BIG! We decided to go ahead and schedule an induction for Monday, July 27th. I have to be there at Midnight, so no going to bed on Sunday. It seemed like we knew someone with a birthday every day between July 15th and August 3rd, except on the 27th. So hopefully he will get his own birthday! I can't wait to meet my little guy and that day works well for everyone. Originally we had been discussing this Thursday, however that is the day of my Uncle's funeral. My family is very excited about his arrival, they all keep saying we need something positive to get us through this difficult time.

We are making a list of everything we still need to get done before Monday. It's not too long, but long enough. Gotta get the yard looking great, clean the carpets really well, finish the changing table, and overall just enjoy/rest these remaining days before Hudson arrives.
