04-11-2008 - Halloween was fun

My mood while writing this blog:
bored

Halloween was kinda fun. Landen was superman. I had to work til 6,didn't get home til 6:45 or so, and then we took Landen to the church, we didn't stay long there-we even forgot to get our candy!~ Then we went to my cousin's apt which is like 30 mins away and then we went to see my friend Kacey and her husband Damien, who just moved in by my cousin. I wish we wouldn't have stopped by there because we stayed tooo long there because my friend needed my husband to help her husband move 2 dressers upstairs and then help him put together a small table. By the time we left there it was 9:30,I think. Then we went by and saw Landen's grandma and aunt and cousin Raven on his dad's side because they never call or anything and I figured it'd be a good idea for them to see how cute he was in his Superman costume. So we went and saw them.They were staying with my husband's great-uncle and his weird, psycho wife. They scared Landen. The uncle scared Landen because Landen just doesn't like guys he's not use to and he was kinda loud and Landen doesn't like loud people either,for some reason. And then the psycho wife of his got in the man's face and literally screamed something and that scared Landen. And she kept walking around her messy livingroom,and I think she was drunk and I thought she was going to step or fall on Landen. My husband's family is just WIERD. But I think Landen's grandma and I know his Aunt Candise and Raven all enjoyed seeing him. One thing that gets on my nerves tho:Raven is 3 yrs old-turned 3 in June-STILL in diapers. And she's sooo crybaby-ish sometimes. But anyways, I wish we could have went more places. I'm still deciding on whether or not to let it be a ritual to take him trick or treating or just to churches and family members' houses. Trick or Treating can be kinda dangerous now a days. I heard on the news there was this one dude who shot at a dad and 2 kids when they came and knocked on his door because he was paranoid and he thought someone was there to rob him.So I don't know if I want him to start going trick or treating or what...
