16-9-2008 - Third Trimester!!!!!!

My mood while writing this blog: BLESSED!!

WOW I've Made it into my third trimester.. So far everything seems to be going as planned. Its been 14 weeks since my surgery and being put on bedrest I have 8 weeks till my cerclage comes out I am so excited and can't wait for the stitch removal Thanksgiving Week maybe we will have a turkey baby I guess we will just have to wait and see..

Well bed rest has been very boring since nobody likes to visit iv only had 2 visitors since I got pregnant those being Robyn and my Sister in-law Susan. But that's okay I have my baby boy to keep me company he amazes me everyday on how much more active he has become I am so grateful to have this experience again but this time I can't to bring him home from the hospital..

As for the cerclage I have been feeling a little bit of pelvic pressure this last week so I had to go to Labor and Delivery to get my cervix checked and be monitored for contractions and so far its just ligament pains so I will learn how to deal. I will get my cervix checked again Sep 30 YaY my week 30 how exciting hopefully all is good and I will get my steroid shots then also so that babies lungs develop just incase I go into pre-term labor lets just hope not.

So far this last few weeks babies kicks have gotten much stronger. Daddy likes to put his head on my belly and listen to babies heart beat and baby kicks at him lol its funny. Baby has been up all day long kicking and he sleeps through the whole night I love it I told my doctor about that and she was very happy to hear that she said its because of my bed rest so he is starting to settle in with his own schedule well im happy with the one he picked. Well before we know it, it will be all over with and we will have our son home with us I can't wait its going to be the best day of my life.

Well I guess that's all I have for now I will write more as the weeks come and go.. Good Luck to all the Mommy's to be I hope U all get your little bundles of Joy to bring home Just remember God has a plan for us all even if we don't like what was dealt we must keep playing that hand. I still think about my Son Colin everyday I miss him everyday just as much as the first day he was gone but I don't think that will ever go away and I really don't want it to. He will alwayz be my first born his job is to watch over his little brother and guide him through his life my soon to be baby is so lucky to have his own angel who will look after him for the rest of his life. I just thank god everyday for everything he has given us. Well I guess im off for now.. Will write again...
