27-8-2008 - and yet again!

My mood while writing this blog:
Ok

this morning is a repeat of yesterday...

i was cramping badly all day yesterday, and it seemed to get worse at night. we had some friends over for dinner, and after they left i asked the hubs to take a little stroll around the driveway. (we live out in the boonies so it's about a half mile walk). about halfway through, i started cramping more severly, so we had to inch our way back to the house, slowly and steadily. i woke up bleeding again this morning.

i laid in bed until around 11 and then headed to work, where i am now. i haven't called my doctor because this is the same thing that happened last monday, and i can't imagine she'll tell me anything different. also, i think i'm a little nervous that my "modified bed rest" is going to be switched to full bed rest, which horrifies me. i will do whatever it takes to keep my baby healthy, but i think i can hold off bugging my doctor until my appointment tuesday (6 days away).

what do you think? am i being rediculous or reasonable by not calling?

Hi, i hope things are going better? I'm am still bleedng every day! It is nearly a week since my last scan so i'm gonna ring the hospital to see what they think. I know how scary it is but like you said, alot of women experience this in the 1st trimester. Take care and try not to worry, impossible i know! xx

I dont want to sound to harsh but you are NOT bugging your DR by calling and asking him or her and going to the DR everytime you bleed or cramp. ANY DR that makes you feel anything other than okay and comfortable to call even if its 12 times a day or week, is a TERRIBLE dr....... You never know what might be up and its SO MUCH BETTER and SAFER for you and baby to call EVERY TIME IT HAPPENS. So what if your calling alot they are paid and trained to handle sick and hurt people. They have too!! Sweetie I really think you should call this new DR and get in there or the ER if you are still bleeding and/or cramping.....

I can not believe what is happining to you. There is obviously a problem and unfortunately it doesn't seem like you are being seen properly by anyone.

What is important right now is to find out where the bleeding is coming from. My recommendation to you is to call your new dr and tell them that you are really scared and bleeding & cramping bad and that you are going to the ER unless they prefer to see you first.

You need to find out if you have a hematoma or if your plecenta is leaking or what???

You know my first preg.. I didn't have the best Dr & had bleeding from like 8 weeks which lasted on and off until 18 weeks then I lost the baby.... I regret not being more tuff & demanding more attention. Till this day I still wonder if I could have done something to save Him.

In any case, I strongly recommend not waiting... make the call and see what they say! Keep me posted!!
