11-2-2009 - 37 weeks!

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

good morning ladies :) i went in for my 37 week appt this morning and all is well! my doc said she is not concerned about my little man having restricted growth (a concern due to my AFP test), as his last ultrasound at 35 weeks showed him weighing approx 5lbs 12oz, and he was measuring ahead on everything! so, she cancelled the ultrasound we had scheduled for this week, and is not planning on inducing me early! i have been feeling cramps in my low back that wrap around to my low stomach, been peeing more often, and been super tired. i told my doc these things and she just grinned & told me i'm getting close! she did the group b strep test, and i'll hear those results next week, i imagine. also, she checked me and said i'm dialated a teensy bit- just a small dimple on the side of my cervix. i have a good feeling that my little guy is going to hang out until we make a little more progress with my husband.

thank you for all your kind comments on my husband's cancer. we are going to meet the oncologist today to get all the information for chemo. he will be starting his first rounds shortly. i will update you all once i know more- for now that's all i really know. please be praying that he has energy & is feeling good on the day of our son's birth!
