My mood while writing this blog: SLEEPY |
OK SO I THINK I AM OVULATING TODAY OR IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS WHICH IS GREAT B/C IM ONLY ON CD 13 AND THIS WILL BE A BIG IMPROVEMENT FROM THE USUAL OVULATION AROUND CD 20. I HAVE ALOT OF CM , MY TEMP DROPPED THIS MORNING AND MY LOWER BACK JUST STARTED CRAMPING. ANYWAY MY QUESTION IS TO YOU LADIES WHO HAVE BEEN ON PROGESTERONE. IM NOT SURE IF I NEED IT SO I DONT WANT TO TAKE IT RIGHT NOW BUT I WILL TAKE IT AS SOON AS I FIND OUT IM PG SO WHAT I WANNA KNOW IS ONCE I GET A BFP WHICH IS USUALLY AROUND 10 DPO AND I START PROGESTERONE THEN WILL THAT BE TO LATE? I HAVE READ THAT IF YOU DONT TAKE START ON IT WITHIN 4 DAYS OF OVULATION THAT ITS USELESS. BUT I HAVE ALSO HEARD OF MANY WOMEN WHO START ON IT MUCH LATER AND HAVE SUCCESS SO COULD SOMEONE JUST GIVE ME SOME INPUT ON WHAT TO DO AND ALSO WHAT DID YOU USE? SHOTS, PILLS OR CREAMS? THANKS LADIES AND BABY DUST TO ALL!!!!

Tuesday, 5 Aug From what I understand (I'm on progestrone injections)...if you have had miscarriages in the past then doctor will start you on a cream when they learn of your BFP. But it's not necessary if you havent had a miscarriage. I take it b/c I have preterm labor issues, so mine is a little different. If you have had miscarriages in the past I would call the doctor and see if you could get the cream just as a save guard in case you do become pregnant. Hope this helps. minkymoo78 -
Tuesday, 5 Aug Has your doc prescribed progesterone? What did he/she tell you to do when they prescribed it? I would go with whatever they said. Good luck x dahreel28 -
Tuesday, 5 Aug hello there... early in the pregnancy your body produce its own progesterone from the corpus luteum. That's why when you're on early pregnancy temps don't drop and stays at a high level. That is due to progesterone. So I guess no need for you to worry if you won't take progesterone early. If later on your pregnancy it will lower down, then you'll need that one ofcourse to sustain the pregnancy. But as of the moment i don't think so should worry about that.
