23-1-2009 - FINALLY!!!

My mood while writing this blog: BLESSED!!

As I sit here and type this Im shaking so bad, a million things are running through my mind and Im just praying to God that this one sticks. I know my husband cannot bear another loss, I feel so blessed to have another shot at being a mom, its all I want. I know it is sooo early and I dont exactly wanna rush to the doc like all the times before and get a blood test. Once I get those HCG numbers its all downhill from there, Im obsessed with them and it just stresses me out. But I am worried about the fact that Im using this progesterone cream, it wasnt prescribed to me I just got it at my local health food stores and it has done wonders for my cycles. But I guess, now that Im using it I have to keep using it until Im 12 weeks or so, even then I would be so scared to stop it. I know there are other alternatives like suppositories and shots I guess I will have to talk to my doctor about that, has anyone else ever used progesterone if so what form did you use? Ahhh here I go again obsessing over every little thing, Im just so excited I dont wat anything to go wrong. Please pray that this baby sticks around!!!! Thankyou to everyone who told me not to give up yesterday, I thought for sure I was out this month!!DH doesnt even know yet, you ladies know before him, I just couldnt keep it in. I am not telling any family until I know for sure how this is gonna work, but does anyone have any creative ideas how I can tell him?

I was on progesterone suppositories until week 13. The cream doesn't really have that much in it. Id talk to the doc about something else..

Aww Congratulations!!! Stay positive girl and don't worry about the loss. It is really important that you have a positive outlook on this pregnancy and not worry. Pray on it!

OMG!!!! YAY!!! COngratulations sweetie!!!
I too used the cream, and my nurse said there really wasn't enough there to do anything. They put me on the suppostories. I just finished taking them. Try to get a prescription ASAP. I satrted mine about 3-4 weeks also.

I just wanted to say congrats on your BFP! I am on progesterone suppositories,250mg at night before bed. I was told to come off at 8 weeks by my doc...but I didnt feel right about coming off so early so I'm taking the rest of the perscription which will bring me to almost 12 weeks. By then the placenta takes over hormonal production and baby should be fine :0)

Awww congrats hun! I've never used progesterone cream, but when I was pregnant w/ my son my OB prescribed progesterone to me it was in the form of a pill though. I'd just tell her you have been using it maybe she will tell you to continue using that or just prescribe you something.

BIG CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! great news. Now, you need to calm down. This is a new pregnancy, a new chance - its different to before so you need to relax and send positive vibes to your little seed!!!

I just wanted to let you know that I have had 2 early m/c and I am using natural progesterone cream this cycle for the first time. It wasn't perscribed to me either but I feel that I need it! I've read so many things about it and it can't hurt you so I figured it's worth a shot! Also congrats on your BFP!!! I hope to be joining you soon! I am 3 DPO today, so we'll see!!
