04-2-2009 - UPDATE #2

Sorry it has taken me forever but I guess something was wrong with the site. Anyway the appt went good other than my doc scolding me(in a way) for going to the ER. I told DH he would be mad and he didnt believe me and sure enough he got onto me, I knew it was coming but DH went with me and he was getting pissed at how the doctor was acting, I can understand they dont like you running to the ER without calling them or whatever but its my body and Ill do whatever I feel neccesary for me. He kept saying what did you think the ER was gonna be able to do for you?!! What difference does it make, it made me feel better to be there instead of just sitting at home freaking out. Anyway they did an u/s and they said everything is measuring although IDK I think the sace looks kinda small esp compared to the yolk sac it almost takes up the whole thing, I really dont know what a 5 week u/s should look like. Im gonna post it and yall tell me what you think. Oh and BTW theres only ONE!!lol I feel so stupid and I feel bad b/c my husband was all excited, I was too. Anyway I go back next week and we should see the heartbeat and the baby. I cant wait!! I hope everything continues to go well.

i think it's crazy a doctor would ever get mad at you for going to the ER. i know things are different here in canada with universal health care, but from all the stories i've read there's a lot of negative energy directed towards people that don't seem to have a "legitimate" reason" to be seen by doctors. i hope he didn't make you feel too bad, i can understand your frustrations...but keep smiling for that beautiful little peanut baby inside you!

drs have no clue sometimes... its like- what would they do if it was them in this situation?!! dont you wish you had your own U/S at home, so you could just check yourself whenever you felt the need to?!!!!! im glad everything is going good!!! keep me updated =o)
