16-4-2009 - making so much progress

Oh my goodness, I have been MIA from here for awhile, but with good reason. I wnet back to work to save more money for the adotion and afterwards too b/c once we get our little miracle, Im not working. We started this process in late february and here we are ready to go!! All of our paperwork is done we have been approved, and our profile books are being printed up as we speak!! Then we just wait to be picked by one of the birthmoms. Could be a week, month or year but I doubt that. We just need to start buying furniture for the nursery, I wanted to get some ideas. Cant really buy too many clothes yet b/c we dont know if we will have a boy or girl, Im so excited!! Oh here is a link to our profile, I did it with an online scrapbooking software. My husbands pics are missing and a pic of our house didnt transfer when I saved it but thankfully the print shop already had the pics.So if you see some pics missing thats why. I am so happy for you! My Mom recounts the day she and my Dad got "the call" for me all the time. It is one of the most vivid memories she has! :-)

I just looked at your scrapbook! It is fantastic!! I am currently going through my 3rd loss and have tossed the idea of adopting around. Still talking to hubby, he wants to see what an infertility doctor has to offer first. I wish you all the best of luck and hope that you will get your little blessing soon!! Keep me posted!!

I am so excited to hear how your journey goes. I know how exciting it can be, my sister inlaw and husband adopted. So I got to watch the whole adoption unravel. And I hope one day to adopt aswell!
