I cant believe my little girl is 7 weeks already! She is doing really well and settled into our family very easily...my other two kids(Clayton 4 1/2 yrs and Alisha 23months) adore her.. Breastfeeding is like second nature it has been from the start, its amazing how your more relaxed with your 3rd and everything seems to come easy.. i love it... I remember how hard it was with my other two with a zillion questions going thru my brain,everything is new and was constantly thinking am i doing the right thing? Have they had enough milk? Am i a good mum? etc

From birth my girl has had umbilcal hernia which is common so ive heard but i got told by a doctor they wouldnt do anything unless it hasent corrected itself by 4yrs... So at her 6 week check up my Ob who i saw throughout my pregnancy said it looked big and reffered me to a surgen to take a look... i was soo scared i didnt want my little girl to have surgry so young and i heard that that strangulation can happen and if it goes hard,blue or there is vomiting go straight to the hospital. So we went to the appoinment and the surgen said its not the size that matters but the opening which is only 1cm so it has a 95% chance of healing on its own. We were so relieved we have to go back in 6weeks time to check that its not getting bigger(it can get to a size of a grapefruit) !! but other than that is all looks good.

Im so happy to have her in my life our family is complete :-)
