05-5-2009 - I LOVE HER!!!!

My mood while writing this blog: Amazed

Ok so we went to our big sono today, the fetal anatomic survey and all that mumbojumbo. It was amazing. And it is 110% a little girl. And i am sooo in love with this little baby girl it amazes me. I love her more and more each day and after seeing her today doing all her flips and tricks and wiggles, and seeing each of her body parts and features... that love has magnified so tremendously i dont believe i could ever love anyone or anything so much in my life. And my love for Omar has increased so unbelieveably as well, even though i thought before i was pregnant i couldnt love him any more than i already did. I have this newfound totally new type of love and respect for him as the love of my life, and now the father of my child. I am so happy and my life is just so amazing right now. On to the sonogram... So we met the lady and she took us in the room. She was so nice, her name was steph. So we told her we wanted to see the sex and on we went to look at the baby. The goo was heated too so it wasnt freezing : ) When we saw how big she got and how beautiful she looked my heart melted. Her heartbeat was 153 bpm, nice and healthy, and she weighs about 14 ounces. Everything that the tech checked was healthy. The baby was in breech position but the tech said not to worry cause at 19 weeks that can change from hour to hour. I wasnt really concerned, especially seeing her acrobatics!! It actually helped get us some awesome sono pics! So i saw her little hands and feet, and her head and butt and stomach. And her little girl parts were sooo visible it was like she was like "Here I am! Look! Look!" Actually, every where we looked, it was as it as soon as we crossed it she started showing off that spot! When we got to her hands she opened up her hand and spread her fingers out like she was showing us how pretty her hands are. And we saw her feet too, and her feet look pretty big! Thats from Omar, lets hope she grows into them : ) And we saw her eyes, it looked a little alien but it was still beautiful. It was like she was winking. And seeing her heart and the way it was beating was sooo incredible. I was sooo excited and relieved everything was good and big and healthy. And we have sooo many great pictures. The tech told us to hide them on the way out cause she doesnt usually give out that many pics! She gave us 11 pictures! We saw her punch me, wiggle around, open her mouth, and we saw her smile too! My favorite picture is the one of her side profile. Just as if she was a little model, she put her hand in a fist and put it under her chin when we were looking, and then she smiled! She SMILED! My little girl is sooo photogenic! She was the most amazing beautiful little girl i have ever seen and i am so happy and cant wait to meet her. And Omar is so adorable, he was tearing up as we were watching. I love my family <3 So im gonna stop chewing off your, um, eyes.
