11-5-2009 - First "unofficial" Mother's Day!

My mood while writing this blog: pretty good : )

Ok so my first mothers day as a mommy-to-be was awesome. I was still awake at midnight so Omar wished me my first happy mothers day at 12 on the dot! We went to bed kinda late and I woke up with hubby and we laid in bed a while. And guess what... Omar felt her move for the first time!!! It was great seeing him get that excited. It was so cute. And my family said happy mothers day to me... it felt wierd but in a really good way if that makes sense. So we gave my mom a potted mum plant and got cards and lotto tix for omars mom n grandma. Then when we got there to give it to them, they werent home... they were at babies r us!! We met them there and Omars grandma was goin crazy buyin stuff! Then omars stepdad decided to buy us a crib... a CRIB!!! It was so great of them. God i love my family. And then omar surprised all of us and took us out to lunch at charlie browns steak house... mmmmm prime rib! Then came home and barbequed with my family. It was such a lovely day. And in between the lunch and bbq.... i cleaned the everlovin out of the room thats gonna be the nursery!! I think im nesting!! I got sooo much progress done in that room it was crazyyy. It made me so happy. I had a friggin fantastic mothers day. Other than that... lets see... i have a doctors appointment tomorrow. Nothing special, just a check i think but im excited to hear her little heartbeat! My legs are starting to cramp, gotta buy some kiwis! (Kiwis have like 10 times the potassium of bananas) I got to sleep a little tight and in the morning i feel it crampy. Luckily i only had one dieing calf cramp in the middle of the night... so far *knock on wood* Haha its not fun flailing around howling like a dieing animal at 2 am. Other than that i guess still a little heartburn here and there. My feet are starting to hurt a bit if i stay on em too long, but i can avoid that thankfully. I still feel great tho! I put pics up of my 20 week belly, tell me if you think i look preggo yet lol, and pics of the crib and the stuff omars grandma bought. Go check it out and send some love! Thanks guys, love yas!

I'm glad you had a wonderful Mothers Day! Your crib and baby gifts are amazing. It's nice to have family there to spoil you :o) My Mom has bought too many clothes for our bean I think her closet is getting to look close to mommies Haha...your belly looks great also! I wish I was showing :o( My Mom bought me some very comfortable maternity pants from Motherhood last weekend for when I need to start wearing them but I don't need them yet and still no noticeable bumb (my husband and family can see my bumb but they know i'm pregnant, strangers probably think I'm a bit heavier in the mid-section but that's about it) Bummer...Haha my time will come hopefully.
