My mood while writing this blog: concerned |
Well then, where were we? Sooo, at my 36 week checkup I tell my Dr. that at my first pap when I was 22 years old this French Dr tells me "you are very narrow and would have a difficult time in childbirth". What did she mean, I say to my new Doc, what is narrow? Well, she would have been referring to your pelvic bones she says, I'll take a look since I'll be checking your cervix today. Soooooo, I'm thinking tthis will be uncomfortable like a pap, NO, it's not uncomfortable, it is very painful! Not what I was expecting. All of this time I'm thinking "yea, I'm going to try to push this baby our with no drugs, ha! I wanted drugs just for the cervix check! Then again since she was feelin around for pelvic bones, perhaps thats not what a "check" normally feels like but now Im scared of "checks". Anyways, she tells me "yes, your pervic bones are narrow and your babys head is measuring 13 inches at week 34 so her head is big and in the 97th percentile. If you dont want to try to deliver her vaginally and haven't gone into labor naturally by week 39 we would be willing to schedule a c-section for you for week 39. If you want to try to push her out, you can but you still may not be able to and get a c-section anyway. If you do push her out you'll likely have a large tear or episiotomy. Soooooo, that's what's going on with me. Decisions, decisions! I dont want a c-section. I dont want to tear. I want her to come out w/o a poroblem. I want I want I want! Aren't I demanding? LOL!
On a more positive note, Im feeling GReeeeat! I've been walking a bunch like 2 hours a day and I feel really good. This pregnancy has been really good to me, no heartburn, no aching things, no morning sickness, no feet in my ribs, (I'm just really blessed! Thank You God!)

Thursday, 28 Aug I tore with my oldest and it bruns when you go number 1 for awhile. I didn't tare with my second!!! She was also exactly 2lbs lighter than my first. BUT I do feel that having your baby is more important than how its done you know what I mean. I think that you will make the right choice between you, your husband, and the docter!!!
Glad your pregnancy is going smooth.
