| 01-3-2009 - My outing yesterday | My mood while writing this blog:hungry! |
I went to Babies R Us yesterday and wanted to buy EVERYTHING in sight! I loved it! I'm a little sad that I am not going to be able to have a complete nursery room furniture set with this baby. We live in a one bedroom right now and can't afford to move to a 2 bedroom because they are SOOO expensive here. I have to wait until we move back home to Louisiana. Right now, I'm trying to figure out where we are going to put the baby as it is. I guess we are just getting a crib to put next to our bed. Hopefully I can get the rest when we move home, which should be a few months after the baby is born. Anyway, I saw the Preggy Pops. I got some because I only get sick feeling when I go out to go grocery shopping so I got some since I was on the way to get groceries yesterday. THEY ARE GOOD! I had like 5 yesterday! The store I went to only had the preggy pop drops. They are flavored in sour raspberry, sour lemon, and sour green apple. I'm not a huge fan of the lemon because it reminds me of pine sol even though I normally like lemon. I also got some pacifiers and some baby clothes hangers. I wanted to buy more stuff but there was so much that I didn't know where to begin.
I also went shopping at Ross yesterday for maternity clothes. I only paid $20 for 2 shirts and a pair of jeans! AND THEY FIT NOW! The jeans were $8 and the shirts $5 and $7. The jeans are so cute and so comfortable! They are a little long and I can't sew so I will have to figure something out in that regard.
I have also been craving burrito supremes fromt Taco Bell. I DID find the recipe online from someone that used to work at Taco Bell. I made them last night and I swear to you it was like I went to Taco Bell and got them! I always tried to make them but the meat would always taste different. And I figured out they use enchillda sauce on them and the Mexican pizzas (which is next on my list to make since I LOVE LOVE LOVE them!!! I'll post the recipe at the end of this blog for those of you that want it. It's great because you can have fast food at home and actually KNOW what you are eating. I used the extra lean ground beef, light sour cream, and low fat cheese to try to make it a little better.
Also, my major cravings right are tangerines, tangelos, apples, cold hotdog wieniers wrapped in a slice of white bread (something my mom used to feed us on trips to Georgia. She would buy the Lykes hotdogs, a loaf of Bunny bread, a bag of chips, and cold drinks and put them in an ice chest and we would eat that instead of stopping at fast food places), and anything sweet like cookies and brownies. OH! I also got the pickle craving!!! I even started sipping the pickle juice!
Ok well I can't copy and paste the recipe so here is the link. It is SOOOO worth it. Also you can make the mexican pizzas from Taco Bell if you use all the same stuff but instead, fry the flour tortillas in oil and then make them. Maybe I'll try that tonight!
