| 05-5-2009 - Weight gain so far--My menu for food | My mood while writing this blog:A little worried |
Ok, so far I have gained 15 lbs. I went from 120 to 135lbs. I know normal weight gain is 25 to 35lbs but I also know that most of the weight is gained at the end. I wouldn't normally worry about it but I am going on a cruise next week. There is 24 hour room service, full lunch buffets, and a dessert buffet. At dinner, you can order as much as you want, as many entrees as you want, as many desserts as you want, and with the room service you can order the ENTIRE menu if you want to all for free. I eat about every 2 hours as it because I am so hungry all the time. I try not to eat bad. I also have people in my ear at work telling me that I am constantly eating or talking about eating and that I am going to get huge.
Here's what I had yesterday:
Breakfast: 1 bowl of Coco Pebbles (I know, not the best), 1/2 slice of honey wheat toast with butter and grape jam, 1 cup of black coffee with NESTLÉ COFFEE-MATE Liquid Coffee Creamer, a few sips of ginger ale
Lunch: 1 honey roasted turkey and cheddar cheese sandwich with regular mayo and yellow mustard, 1 small bag of cheetos, 1 apple.---water to drink
Snack: 1 cheese stick and 1 jello chocolate pudding (not sugar free)--water
Dinner: 2 pigs in a blanket (baked crescent roll wrapped hotdog), a small amount of kraft mac and cheese, and 1 bowl of salad with bacon bits, croutons, cheddar cheese, and creamy poppyseed dressing.--ginger ale to drink
Dessert: 4 strawberries and 1 kiwi with 2 tablespoons of fat free cool whip--water to drink
Today
Breakfast: 1 bowl of Coco Pebbles (I know, not the best), 1/2 slice of honey wheat toast with butter and grape jam, 1 cup of black coffee with NESTLÉ COFFEE-MATE Liquid Coffee Creamer
Lunch: 1 honey roasted turkey and cheddar cheese sandwich with regular mayo and yellow mustard, about 2 servings of Peppercorn Ranch Sunchips, 1 apple.
Snack: 1 90 calorie peanut butter quaker granola bar, 1 bite sized twix, 1 bite sized snickers (literally 1 bite each)
Dinner: Cheeseburger macaroni hamburger helper (made with whole grain pasta), 1 single serve container of broccoli and carrots, 1 bowl of salad with bacon bits, croutons, cheddar cheese, and creamy poppyseed dressing.--2% milk to drink
No dessert as of yet.
Am I doing bad? I'm really trying to eat ok. It's hard when you have a husband that doesn't eat much but hotdogs, spaghetti, pizza, chicken, red beans and rice, and hamburgers pretty much. And I also don't get home until late, around 6:30. Any suggestions?
