26-1-2009 - Spotting

My mood while writing this blog: Worried

I started spotting today.. It started as some brown spotting while I was still at work.. When I got home, I checked with the doppler to make sure I could still hear the heartbeat, and I did find it.. But then I started spotting bright red. I'm scared right now. I've been resting with my feet up all evening. I called the doctor and he pretty much said as long as I'm not gushing, to just wait to see how my ultra sound goes tomorrow.. The last time I went to the bathroom, there was only brown spotting, so I'm hoping that's a good sign. I've had cramping all day, but I didn't think too much of it til I started spotting...
So now I just have to wait through all day tomorrow to see if my baby is ok.. I'm really freaked out and would appreciate any prayers!!

Hey sweetie! Did you hear a heartbeat again today? Did end up going to work? Hopefully it's just a sign that you overdid it a little too much the day before. All the walking at Costco, then cleaning your house and moving the tables around might have just been too much for your body. I spotted when I had been on my feet alot with my first pregnancy...I really hope that's all it was for you honey! I'll be waiting to hear how your ultrasound goes tonight at 5pm!

I am so sorry. I had some bright res spotting and cramping too my midwife said all was ok as long as I was not bleeding like a period she said some womens cervics have more blood vessels than others and any activity can cause some bleeding. I will keep you in my prayers.

I prayed for you. I can't imagine the worry that this is bringing you! Too bad you can't get the ultrasound a day earlier. Hope you are keeping you spirits up as much as possible.

I think if there was a brown sppotting first its probably all good, just hang on, i think everything will be great on the U/S!!!

dont worry babe (ha easier said than done) I had cramping too, quite bad and everything is fine for me. I am sure you will have the same wonderful news at your scan x the midwife told me exactly the same, you would need to lose a significant amount of blood to need to worry.
