27-1-2009 - Second Ultra Sound

My mood while writing this blog: So Relieved!!

So we had our second ultra sound this evening! I have been so worried ever since the spotting started.. And it doubled when it started being bright red. But now I am so relieved!!

We went in (early for a change- they always make me wait forever) and right away we saw the baby! We saw the heart beat (a nice strong 167 bpm) and we saw him/her waving his/her arms around and kicking his/her legs! :-) It was amazing! Our baby is even looking more like a baby!! :-) The ultra sound tech gave us 4 pictures (which I will post as soon as I post this)! I'm so happy right now!! I don't really even know what to say!!

The tech said that all my surrounding tissue looked good and that the baby looked great! He said he couldn't find any problems! (made my day! :-))

Our next ultra sound won't be until 18-20 weeks (when we'll be able to find the gender) and I'm already looking forward to it!! :-) I love watching him/her moving around!!

PS The spotting has almost completely stopped and what little is happening is a light brown. So yay!

I'm so bummed they called you in early and I missed your ultrasound! :-( but I'm so glad that it was all good news and your baby GIRL is doing just fine! :-) heehee! Told you the baby was ok! :-) I love you and that baby! Take it easy for now, make Greg do all the work for a little bit, at least until the spotting stops completely, even then take it easy, try not to over do it! I can't wait to meet my neice or nephew in just a few months!! SHE'LL be here before you know it! :-) (Can you tell how sure I am that it's a girl?) Love you!

YAY!!!! I knew you would be fine!!!! But I also completely understand why you were worried!! We are a pair :)
