23-5-2008 - OUR LITTLE FIRECRACKER

Went to the doctor yesterday for my monthly checkup and got to hear the miniwheats heartbeat! At first I didn't expect to hear it because Dr. Benton said that the baby was still so small and to not freak out if we didn't get to hear it but.... our little baby gave us the loudest, fastest hearbeat yet!!! Then we kept hearing other noises like thumps and bumps!!! Dr. B said "Whoa you have a firecracker on your hands!" We knew that already! LOL! Of course my husband says "if it has my wifes blood in it then yes we do have a firecracker!" Yesterday was the coolest day of my pregnacy so far! I have been not really feeling like I was pregnant until yesterday when we heard that little heart beating so fast and so hard! So much fun!

What an exciting day you had yesterday! Congrats on hearing the H/B!!! I love that you call him/her "miniwheat" that is pretty ingenious with the last name, etc :)
