My mood while writing this blog: Happy Happy Happy

Hi ladies

How is everyone, hope you're all having a nice weekend. My weekend has been fabulous, I have felt much much better the last few days and I THINK the nausea is finally starting to wear off. I still haven't got much of an appetite but I don't feel shattered and sick all day anymore which is nice. I'm hoping I start to put a bit of weight on now and get a bump because everyone keeps trying to look at my stomach and really there's nothing there!

Yesterday we spent the day going round baby shops and we bought so much stuff I can't stop looking at it all. We ended up getting all our nursery stuff and it's gorgeous, it's the Little Friends range from Matalan, it's much nicer than the Mothercare stuff and soooo much cheaper and lovely quality. We got curtains, bedding, cot bumper, lantern, blankets, nappy stacker, hooded towel, cot tidy, room thermometer, everything in the range anyway and it's gorgeous. I'm not putting any pics up though because I want to wait until the whole nursery is done so you can see it all together. ARGH I'm so excited.

We also bought an AVENT steriliser, bottles and breast bump plus a Johnsons baby box full of bits and bobs - all half price. We got loads and loads of clothes in neutral colours and I just cry when I look at them, they're adorable, we got new born sets that have everything with them plus vests, sleep suits, scratch mittens, nappies, hats, booties, bibs, babygrows etc, it just makes everything feel so much more real. We actually got loads and it didn't cost much at all, the offers that they have on in all the shops are brilliant, I was really impressed at what you can get for your money.

Anyway, we won't be buying much more now as we know we'll get bought a lot of things nearer the time that baby is due but I just loved buying it all yesterday.

My mum is taking me for a day out shopping in April and she's going to get us the moses basket and some sheets and more blankets etc and we're going out for lunch, I'm really looking forward to that as we don't get chance to go shopping together very often.

My little Jackaroo is feeling sorry for himself today, one of his claws bent back a bit so he keeps shaking and licking it, this happened before and we took him to the vets and they just said to leave it as it will grow out and fall off so he'll be sulking for a few days bless him. I hate to think of him in pain.

Right, sorry I've gabbled on a bit but I'm just in a great mood with feeling better and having all my baby bits to look at. We have the decorator coming next week to look at the nursery and then she's hopefully doing it for us April, then we can get my dad to bring the furniture and get the carpet fitted and we're all set. I want it done by June as they say you need it painting and the carpet down 3 months before baby is born.
