yay to sickness going! thats great, my best friend who i mentioned was pregnant a while ago (dont no if u saw the blog) shes been suffering with sickness every single day and so far shes hating pregnancy, i think ill tell her about you and how your finally getting better. although her mum apparently suffered sickness the hole way throigh, but hopefully she wont be as unlucky...i remember i had a bad tate in my mouth which wasnt metalicy, it didnt last long tho, never did find out what it was, glad you had a good time with your friends. i bet there all so excited for you :D xx

I'm so glad your nephew is home safe and sound. I hope your sister is well too, I know it had to be traumatic for her. Glad to hear you are so well. The call the 2nd trimester the honeymoon stage because it's when you feel the best. Don't worry hun the baby belly will come as will the maternity clothes. You'll be tired of them by the time the baby is due and ready to give them both up (belly and clothes not the baby) LOL. Take care hun and enjoy this time. Have fun this weekend.

So happy to hear that your nephew is well, along with you feeling good too! I never had that icky taste you explained, so no helpful advise from me...sorry! Can't wait to see an updated belly...I'm still trying to get over the itch I have of wanting another one...ah, it will happen again when we are ready I guess!

Pleased your nephews ok too, must have been scary for everyone involved, bless him.
Your belly should start to look a little more rounded soon as your uterus should start to rise above your pelvic bone now, but dont be too down hearted, some ladies dont show at all til 20 weeks...the longer it takes the smaller you'll stay and thats all the better for your figure after lol ;O)P

wow, you must be relieved that you hit week 13. it has gone by so fast. it seems like time is going so fast foreveryone else and it is completely dragging for me. i can't wait to finish the nursery and get pics of it up for everyone. I never took belly pics. i feel like such a horrible person but really i guess i don't care much to document my bigness. lol. i'm sure i'll have plenty pics at my shower. so he can see how big he made me. i am just getting really anxious now to get everything together and ready. i really am so glad this is working out for you.

Hi ladies
Just thought I would update on my nephew - thank you for all your lovely messages! He went home this afternoon and is really pleased to be out of hospital. They looked after him really well and he's got lots of sweets and presents off everyone to cheer him up bless him. I'm sure he'll forget about it all in a couple of days.
I am still feeling really good, I only feel sick on and off very slightly now and it never lasts more than a few minutes. I am eating more and feel much more energetic. I still can't get rid of this awful taste in my mouth though, I've had it for about 8 weeks now and it is so horrible, it's not the metalic taste, I can cope with that, this is like a gross sweet taste at the back of my tongue and the only thing that gets rid of it is swilling my mouth with Corsodyl which I obviously can only do when I'm at home. I don't understand what it is and why it won't go away. I get it after everything I eat and it never goes away. Ewwww. That is my only complaint at the minute, everything else is great.
I am going to put a new belly pic up when I get home tonight, for my own benefit just to see if I am actually growing as I don't feel like I am. At least if I take a pic tonight I can compare it to my 12 week one.
Not long until the weekend now, we've got Friday afternoon off and Monday so I can't wait for a nice long weekend.
I had a lovely night with my friends last night, I hadn't seen one of them for ages so it was great to catch up and we are arranging a girly night out soon, hopefully I'll have a bump to show off by then!
Hope all you ladies are well. I have read about a few miscarriages in the last week or so and I just want to say that I am thinking of you ladies and hope you start to feel better soon. xxxx
