My mood while writing this blog: Tired |
Hi ladies
Didn't realise it'd been so long since I wrote a blog! Bet you've all missed me haven't you? Ha ha.
Well we had a lovely weekend but today I am absolutely shattered. I did about 2 and a half hours gardening yesterday and I think it's taking it's toll today. I'm stuck at work and I could literally just fall asleep on my desk.
I seem to have lost my appetite again so I haven't eaten much for the last 4 days. I don't feel sick apart from first thing in the morning but I just don't feel very hungry either. I'm STILL 6 lbs under my pre pregnancy weight which is starting to annoy me now because I want to start putting weight on and looking pregnant.
I seem to be in that limbo stage at the minute where I am just waiting to look pregnant. My belly seems to have stopped growing although Steve keeps saying it's grown and I'm also waiting for my first flutters.
I go into week 15 tomorrow so I'm really excited about that and next Wednesday I have my 16 week appointment with the midwife and I'm hoping they will let me listen to the baby's heartbeat as I haven't heard it yet. I don't want to buy a doppler because if I couldn't find the heartbeat at any point I would just go into panic mode so I really don't want one.
Right ladies, I have 2 more hours until home time so I better get on with some work (if I can stay awake). I have a feeling Steve will find me tucked up in bed when he gets in from work.
Hope you are all doing ok. Sending lots of baby dust to all those ladies TTC. I hope we hear of lots of BFP's in April. xxxx

Monday, 23 Mar Your weight will definately come. Just wait until right after the halfway point and you should be putting on 1/2 a pound a week whether you eat a lot or not. You look beautiful and healthy right now and that's the most important thing. Jelly27 -
Monday, 23 Mar Thank you for the support, A BFP would be great in April! Don't worry about your weight. Just wait veru soon you will be telling us how sick you are of all the weight gain from the baby. Those first flutters will be well worth the wait!!1 **MOLAR**SURVIVOR!! -
Monday, 23 Mar gardening, sounds fun =) glad your feeling good apart from the sleepiness. the other day, I was nosing around and came across a girls blog about another girl named msrg22tx and her writing nasty things. I wonder if she was the one who wrote the baby weight and birth in March on your baby guesser as well as rach's baby guesser. She annoyed the hell out of me on the ttc page making 50 posts a day about possibly being preggo and I am sure I wasnt the only one who wished she would shut the heck up. I think she got her acct deleted but maybe she set up a fake acct and is scorned and being nasty to everyone now?? Not that it matters now, but I thought of her immediately. Anyways, enjoy and hope you feel some early flutters =) Joy-S -
Monday, 23 Mar Wow Helen! I can't believe you're already into 15 weeks! Wow, it's going fast....although I know it probably doesn't feel very fast for you! That's so awesome!!!! princessvjc -

Monday, 23 Mar There's nothing wrong with being in bed early when your pregnant! Sleep as much as you need to....i remember hearing somewhere that a pregnant womans body is exerting as much energy as a marathon runner every single day, so sleep away my dear! Can't wait to hear all about your doc visit and yippee for 15 weeks! skatrose -
Monday, 23 Mar Hey there! So glad to hear you are moving into week 15 tomorrow. You will get that baby belly soon. One day you'll wake up and be thinking "where did this come from?" ha ha. I did the same thing in my pregnancy, I lost weight in the beginning, but then the bump came soon enough. Glad m/s has subsided somewhat! Good luck. You are looking great!! samsara625 -
Monday, 23 Mar 15 weeks tomorrow ...everything is going so well congratulations hun ! The first time you hear the heartbeat is fantastic you will love it ! xx thenorthcutts -
Monday, 23 Mar At your next appointment the doctor SHOULD start listening to the hearbeat. I get to hear Carson's at every appointment on a doppler! It is so cool sounding. Glad you are doing so well but you need to start eating woman!! I did the same thing and didnt gain any weight until later!! You'll have a bump soon enough :D haileys mommy -
Monday, 23 Mar Aww time is flying! :D Don't worry about the weight gain.. I didn't gain all the weight that I lost until I was around week 22.. and now I'm almost 29 weeks, and only 6 lbs over my pre pregnancy weight.
I wouldn't buy or rent a doppler either. Lots of people told me to, but I knew that if I couldn't find her heartbeat I'd go crazy.
I felt my very first flutters around week 17, I don't think I would of felt them but I was laying there on the couch and felt little tiny ones. Then they started getting bigger and bigger.. and now they are to where they hurt bad! haha :D But I love it, and I know you will too!
Good luck with all your appts, be sure to let us all know how it goes! RainbowRach -

Monday, 23 Mar I completely understand what you are saying about the doppler, but I totally could not live without mine, it's a great one, I can find the heartbeat really easy and I don't have to wait till the next doctors appointment to hear my little one. they are great! You are going to be so excited to feel the first flutters, I am in week 22 tomorrow and I swear my little one was rearanging the place in there this weekend, moving all around it was such a great feeling! Monday, 23 Mar Glad everything is going well. Sounds like you got a lot done over the weekend. I was the same way with weight gain. Really didn't feel like I looked pregnant until around 20 weeks or later. I wouldn't buy a doppler. I had one and never could pick up the heartbeat so I freaked and went to the Dr. Everything was just fine and my Dr told me not to use them because they are extremely hard to pick up the heartbeat. mommabell -
Monday, 23 Mar I hear you on the doppler subject. I must have a really crappy one, because here I am at almost 37 weeks, and STILL can't hear anything on it!! :0) hayley bubs -
