My mood while writing this blog: Wishing it was 4pm not 10am! |
Morning ladies
Thank goodness it's Friday, this week at work has dragged so much. I haven't really got much to do today so I know the day is going to go really slow.
Last night I went to my friends for tea and we had a good gossip, she's just met a new man after her ex of 9 years cheated on her a year ago so I'm really happy for her. She seems so happy.
Tonight Steve and I are going out for an Indian meal with my sister and her partner so I'm hoping I have a decent appetite so I can eat a lot. I still can't eat that much but I'm going to give it a good go! YUM!
I THINK I am feeling baby movements most days now, it's hard to tell when you don't know what you're looking for but I definately feel something I didn't feel before so what else could it be? Hopefully in the next week or so the movements will get stronger so I will know for sure.
I am looking forward to my 16 week appointment on Wednesday where I will hopefully hear the heartbeat for the first time. That will give me some reassurance to keep me going until my 20 week scan. It's been hard going from having a scan every 2 weeks to now having nothing so if they don't listen to the heartbeat on Wednesday I will moan until they do!
Right, sorry my blog isn't very interesting but I haven't really got much to talk about. Hope you are all well and congrats to Brandy for her BFP! I hope there are some more in April! xxx

Saturday, 28 Mar awww. thats awesome you are feeling the little one move around. it feels like bubbles popping in your stomach or sorta like gas bubbles at times. i remember the feeling. and when you get this far the kicks/punches/rolls are so hard they'll wake you up in your sleep. my dog was actually taking a nap with my husband and i earlier and Carson moved so fast/hard it scared my dog who woke up barking. HAHA. mindygallo22 -
Saturday, 28 Mar I'm so excited for you. I'm feeling movements a lot more now. It's so cute. It does feel like little bubbles popping in there. Some days it feels like baby is doing a flip or something. I just stop whatever I am doing and smile. I love it! I'm so excited that we are going through this together!!!! I can't wait until our little babies get here and then we will have even more stories to share! baby-momma09 -
Friday, 27 Mar My movements didn't become consistent until I was 19wks. That's also when my hunny felt it too. And it was very low. Below the bikini line. I usually felt it on the left. Congrats you made it to another milestone in your pregnancy. Many people were praying for you! the scroggins -

Friday, 27 Mar Glad everything is going so well. I was the same way as you. For a few weeks I didn't know for sure if it was my baby moving, but looking back I'm pretty sure it was. So congrats!!! You are feeling little baby move. I'm really ecited for when you feel the baby kick and roll. When she would do it at night I was able to sleep through it, but I couldn't I would lay awake feeling my belly with a smile until she was done then I would go to sleep. One amazing thing to look forward to. jen -
Friday, 27 Mar More then likely what your feeling is your little bubs jumping all around! Yippee! It's amazing isn't it? When the kicks and punches and jumps get stronger, you'll be like "yup, that's what it was all the time"! Have fun at your Indian dinner, maybe all the spices will activate baby even more and you'll feel him/her moving all around. Have fun! fanninchris -
Friday, 27 Mar I'll bet you are feeling little movements. On sunday I felt some movements, after I drank a few sips of coffee. I can only feel it when I am really still. They will get stronger in the next few weeks. Enjoy it while you can! Chrissi- EmmaReed84 -
Friday, 27 Mar Hi hun glad things are going well. With regards to movement I spoke to a sonographer about when I had my 20 weeks scan, and explained I wold maybe go 3-4 days and now feel anything. I explained it in quite an amusing way......You know when you go to the fair and win a goldfish in a bag? Well the baby is like that goldfish, has quite a bit of room to swim about freely, but now and again it hits the sides....So the only time you will really feel movement is when baby catches the wall of your uterus. That explaination made me laugh but also made alot of sense...it stopped me worrying when I went a few days with nothing...I would just imagine my little goldfish lol. nirvana -
Friday, 27 Mar They should do the heartbeat for you, they always do at my 16 week appointments :) If they dont, request it for peace of mind!
How exciting that youre feeling your little baby move now, you must be sooooo happy! Not long til hubby can share that special time with you, bet he cant wait!
Im starting to be able to feel whole curled up legs when this little man rolls lol, its so weird but lovely :)
Enjoy your weekend Helen and take it easy xx
