Hi! I can't believe you are in week 16 already! Time has flown by!! And SO EXCITED you decided to get a dopper! LOVE those!! It will keep you so calm and less anxious. I still use mine every few days even tho I'm getting kicks daily. So happy for you!!

Awww what a wonderful day then all in all! I knew you'd love the doppler but didn't wanna push you as you seemed to be anxious over it (understandably) But be warned now your gonna be hooked! It became a ritual everynight for me and Mo we couldn't sleep til we heard from mini Mo! Haha! love it! Ahhh and bless you going and taking your mom to see louby and lilly just think it won't be long til its me and you with people visiting us when weve had our babies woop woop! Sooo exciting! That's so great for you! I'm so excited for you :) Okay, I'm going to toss something out there ~ only because I care about you and your little one ~ so I hope this comes out the right way. During my pregnancy, I thought about renting a doppler, but I read something that said that some studies suggested that the sound waves sent out by the doppler, if used in excess, could impair neurological development. The FDA suggests that, when using a fetal doppler, each exam should take no longer than 7 to 10 minutes, 2 to 3 times a week. I never did buy a doppler because I knew that I would use it way too much! Just throwing it out there....I hope that didn't sound mean or judgmental in any way (I'm not trying to suggest that you're using it too much or anything).....I know it's such a beautiful sound, and it is addictive! I used to cry when I heard it ~ and I still sometimes put my ear to my little one's chest now that's he's here, just to get another listen :)

Hi ladies
Hope you are all ok. I've had a lovely day off work today. I went and had my nails done this morning, then met Steve for lunch, then picked up my Doppler (woohoo) and went to let my mum and dad have a listen to baby Hudson's heartbeat, they loved it. Next I took my mum to see Loubyxxx and little Liliana at the hospital. They are both doing fine but Lily is a bit jaundice so they're not allowed to come home yet.
Steve and I have been listening to the heartbeat since he got home from work. I can't get enough of it. It amazes me that one minute the baby is on my right hand side and a second later he/she is on the other side. And you can hear all the movements as well, it's just amazing.
I'm just cooking tea now and not doing anything else today, I'm shattered. Having my hair done in the morning and then going out with the girls on the night time so I'm looking forward to that!
