Aren't the movements the best? Can Steve feel them? When my husband couldn't feel them I had him lay his face on my belly and then he could feel it. It was funny feeling the baby kick him in the face ;)

Everything will go great at your next scan! they count fingers and toes and you get a great pic of the baby's face...You are going to love it! It seems like just yesterday you got your BFP and now you are almost half way finished!! How exciting! Does your doppler give you a BPM heartrate? I love that about mine...it's amazingly accurate! I have my checkup on friday where I have to drink the orange goo for my glucose test. I am not looking forward to that too much :)

I've used hydrocortisone cream with my last 2 pregnancies. I have some really bad varicose veins in my legs now, and I end up scratching them to pieces if I don't put anything on them. My doctor didn't say that there was anything wrong with using it though. Maybe you can get an over-the-counter type that isn't as strong.

im happy to hear evrything is good on your side. !8 weeks already WOW thats amazing i remember it like it was just the other dayw hen u announced u were pregnant! I went to New Brunswick this weekend to visit my bf's family and when i came back my mom had done me a huge surprise she decorated the nursery for me its sooo nice im soo happy of course she asked me if she could before! its winnie the pooh! Now were just missing a baby in the room! have a good day

Oh hun! what a fab easter weekend you've had then by the sounds of it, What a lovely time you seem to of had and WooHoooo! For week18!!!! Seems like yesterday that i was 18weeks and now im almost 34weeks sheesh! I cannot wait to meet him though Ellie packed all his little clothes and nappies etc... in his changing bag for the hospital all we need now is the perfect coming home outfit to put it just need to shop about until i find the pefect one! And awwww how cute getting the rocker its so nice being able to have a play with it and fiquring it out and the clothes putting in the drawers nice and neat its such a lovely heart warming feeling so enjoy!! I caught Ellie in the nursery the other night having a play with his things it was sooo cute she really cannot wait either bless her! I cannot wait to see your 20week scan piccie it will blow your mind how much he/she has grown! Anyway take care nice to hear from you love steph x x

Wow, you're almost halfway!! I know what you mean about being nervous for the scan. With my Angel Brent his 20 weeks scan showed that all was normal, but I ended up losing him at 22 weeks. The entire pregnancy with Deagan was an emotional rollercoarster. Before every scan I would be almost in tears because I was afraid that something was going to be wrong with him. Just keep positive and that helps a lot. You're doing great!

Hi ladies
Back to work today after a lovely long Easter weekend. It's been so busy at work today my head is spinning!
Our weekend was lovely, we all went to my mums house for a family get together on Friday, Saturday we went to see Loubyxxx and Liliana; I got to feed her and then she fell asleep on my chest, it was wonderful and she is adorable. On Sunday we all went to my sisters for another get together and yesterday we had a lovely meal with Steve's parents and his brother.
We ordered a lovely rocker for baby Hudson yesterday, I can't wait for it to come so we can have a play with it. We've picked the paint and the carpet for the nursery so we just have to wait until the first weekend in May for the decorator to come and then it's all systems go! I can't wait to see it all done and the most exciting part will be putting all baby Hudson's clothes in the wardrobe and drawers. I can't wait! It should hopefully all be done by the end of May!
I've been back to the doctors today about my rash but she said because I'm pregnant there is nothing else she can give me. She ended up prescribing some Hydrocortisone cream but she said only to use it if I'm absolutely desperate so I won't be using it. It's not worth the risk. I suppose I'll just have to put up with it and hope it goes away soon.
Sooooo 18 weeks today, I have felt a lot of movements today and when I listened on the doppler this morning baby was jumping all over the place and the heartbeat seemed even louder than normal so that put a big smile on my face.
Only 2 weeks and 3 days until my 20 week scan, we're soooo excited; we've booked the day off work and my mum is coming with us to the scan then we're all going for breakfast after the scan. I am still going to be nervous before the scan as I know they can pick up abnormalities and things at this scan but I am just going to hope and pray that everything is fine with my precious little baby.
