My mood while writing this blog: Good Good Good |
Hi ladies
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.
Steve has felt baby Hudson kick quite a few times now, I cried the first time he felt it, he was so excited. He/she has been kicking me all day today, I love it, I even saw my belly move slightly while I was in the bath earlier!
We've had a lovely weekend, we've had all the family round to look at the nursery and everyone loves it. I go in there every time I walk past, it's addictive. My little niece came round yesterday and my sister laid her in the cot and she said 'peepies' and wanted to go to sleep in there bless her.
Yesterday we woke up and didn't have any plans for the day but we ended up busy all day. We went out for dinner and went visiting friends and family, we went to see Loubyxxx and Lilianna and had tea with them, it was lovely. We've been out walking with Jack today, his diet is going really well and he already looks slimmer after only a week so well done Jackaroo!
My belly is just getting bigger by the day, I actually look pregnant now which is great, I've put a new pic up from Friday - 21 weeks 3 days.
I am still struggling to find maternity trousers, I've got 1 pair of maternity jeans and nothing else, I've ordered from loads of different internet sites and nothing is suitable so it's getting a bit annoying now. Does anyone have any suggestions bearing in mind I live in the UK.
I've only gained 2 or 3 lbs so far which I'm really pleased about but I am finding that I'm eating a lot more and it's not all healthy! I am liking lots of jam on toast at the minute but I suppose that's not too bad for me really.
Anyway, I'll stop gabbling on now. Thanks for all the mothers day messages but in the UK we have mothers day in March so we've already had it. Hope everyone is ok xxx

Monday, 11 May Love those baby kicks!! You will actually miss them after baby is born.
I wish I could help you on the maternity clothes issue, but I'm having the same problem here in the US. I have ONE pair of maternity jeans and that's it. The tops are rather easy to find, but not pants. hmph!
Anyway, take care and enjoy your week. xo honeymoon-baby -
Monday, 11 May i absolutely loved my topshop mooch jeans and a pair of jeans from mothercare.. in fact that's all the jeans i bought, around the house i wore tracksuit bottoms under my bump, very unglam but comfort is most important, especially whilst getting bigger. don't forget that you may think some trousers don't look great right now but in a couple of weeks when you're bigger they may look much better. anywho i loved topshop maternity. FAB! J9 -
Monday, 11 May just eat what you fancy helen... you need those carbs to keep your energy up!! in terms of trousers, you need to think of the style (over or under bump) i wore both but the below bump ones sometimes feel too low like they're slipping off!! i got a good pair of jeans from baby gap and some nice trousers from m&s... beneton also do some maternity stuff. i really like the site 'jojo maman bebe' - they have a good selection. princessvjc -

Sunday, 10 May Hiya I've bought some lovely linen trousers from Next recently - they come in white, black, grey or khaki and are adjustable and have elasticy panels on the hips. They are not too see through like some linen trousers - I bought a similar pair from New Look and they are nowhere near as good quality.... Also I am living in Next maternity vests at the mo - they come in 3 packs and are only £17 such good value and really comfy... Both packs have Black & White vests and one has pink and the other has khaki. I am favouring tight tops as loose ones make me look huge! Hope you find what you need! x
