| 16-6-2009 - 27 Weeks | My mood while writing this blog:Happy Mummy To Be |
Hi ladies
27 weeks today - yippee! It doesn't seem 5 minutes since I wrote my 26 week blog, the weeks are just flying by!
Well last week was pretty horrendous, I couldn't say anything before but as some of you know I work in Mental Health and last week that poor pregnant girl was stabbed to death in my town. Without giving out details this was all linked in with where I work so it was a horrible horrible week and so busy by Friday I just felt like sitting down and crying. This week seems to be much better so far thankfully.
I got home Friday absolutely exhausted and was in bed by 8pm with a sick bucket feeling violently sick. We went to sleep and then we were woken up at 4:30am by some lads having a party up the street. This doesn't happen where we live, we live in a little quiet village surrounded by fields so we were shocked. Anyway we couldn't sleep so we got in the car to find out where the noise was coming from and we rang the police and the noise was just ridiculous. So that wasn't a great start to the weekend but it ended up being nice.
Saturday we went to Lincoln to try and find me a dress for a wedding we're going to in August (I will be 35 weeks pregnant). I tried on 2 gorgeous floor length posh dresses and they both fit perfectly in a size 12 but there is no way they will fit me in another 8 weeks and they didn't have them in the next size up so I was gutted. I was very pleased I could still fit in a size 12 though at 26 weeks pregnant! I've still only gained 10 lbs which I'm really pleased about, belly is measuring 104cm now, 3cm growth in 2 weeks. So it was a wasted trip but I've ordered about 12 dresses off the internet to try on and I'm hoping one will fit and look nice.
When we got back we picked our pram/travel system up, it took us ages to put it together but once it was done I was so in love with it. It's fantastic and you get so much with it. I had a practice with it for an hour or so and practiced putting the car seat in the car, I'm so pleased with it. I will put some pics on when I have time.
Sunday Steve's brother came home from uni and I hadn't seen him since I was 14 weeks pregnant so he was shocked when he saw my bump, he came round for a barbe and it was really nice to see him.
So the weekend was lovely in the end and I'm off work today waiting for my new bathroom suite to be delivered. Hopefully my brother in law will get round to fitting it in the next few weeks which is exciting.
Ok I hope everyone else is blooming and getting nice big bellies and those who are TTC get some BFP's very soon, there seems to be a lack of them lately.
Lots of love at 27 weeks from Helen and baby Hudson, belly pic coming tomorrow xxx
