So I had my appt yesterday and survey says.......

NO DIABETES!!!

YAY!!! I passed my glucose test woohoo. I was kinda nervous because I eat a lot of sweets that I plan on cutting down on because I also found out I gained 17 pounds so far!!! I'm a cow...last months appt I gained 1.5 pounds...so that means I gained 15.5 pounds in a month...that's ALOT!!! I also found out that I'm anemic so I have to take iron supplements twice a day. I forget to take my prenatals everyday, how the heck am I going to remember to take iron pills???? Let alone 2 iron pills a day haha.

Anyhoo on a good note, my grandma was also released from the hospital yesterday with a brand spanking new pacemaker and is doing good. Thank you to everyone for their well wishes and prayers! It means alot! I will be visiting her this weekend :-)

Glad to hear that your grandma is well. I know that must have been a scary time for you and your family.
Low iron is not too bad, just try and eat lots of green leafy veggies! I know alot of people don't like them, but I LOVE greens! Iron pills are more yucky too me though.
I have my glucose test on April 14th. I heard the stuff they give you to drink is pretty gross! I am not worried though my little boy has actually kept me away from sweets! It just doesn't sound good. Weird.

Lots of good news! I'm happy to hear your grandmother is ok. Can you set a reminder in your cell phone for the pills? I did that, so now that's the only reason I remember to take my prenatals daily.
