01-11-2009 - My Alabaster Box

My mood while writing this blog:
blessed

The room grew still
As she made her way to Jesus
She stumbled through the tears that made her blind
She felt such pain
Some spoke in anger
Heard folks whisper
There's no place here for her kind
Still on she came
Through the shame that flushed her face
Until at last, she knelt before his feet
And though she spoke no words
Every tear she she shed was heard
As she poured her love for the Master
From her box of Alabaster

And I've come to pour
My praise on Him-like oil
From Mary's alabasterbox
Don't be angry if I wash His feet with my tears
And dry them with my hair
You weren't there-the night He found me
You did not feel what I felt
When He wrapped His loving arms around me
And you don't know the cost
Of the oil in my alabaster box

I can't forget
The way life used to be
I was a prisoner
To the sins that had me bound
I spent my days
Poured my life-without measure
Into a little treasure box
I thought I had found
Until the day-when Jesus came to me
And healed my soul
With the wonders of-His love
So now I'm giving back to Him
All the praise He's worthy of
I've been forgiven
And that's why
I love Him so much

GOD IS AMAZING, HE SHOWS ME EVERY DAY THAT HE LOVES ME AND HE HAS CHANGED MY HUSBAND THIS YR INTO THE MOST LOVING, SUPPORTIVE MAN I HAVE EVER MET....HE USED TO CHEAT ON ME, LIE, SMOKE WEED, HAD NO JOB AND I KEPT PRAYING AND PRAYING AND THIS YR .... HE ACTUALLY STOP DOING ALL THAT STUFF, WENT BACK TO SCHOOL AND GOT A JOB, HARDLY GOES OUT WITH OUT ME!!!!!THE LORDD IS AMAZINGGG AND I LOVE HIM.

After I had my first son Luke, I became pregnant again and I was so excited! I wanted to have my children close in age and Lucas was just over a year old. At about 8 weeks I started to bleed and so I called the dr. who explained to me that I could be miscar. I started to get the back pains and cramps really bad and I was panic stricken by the time I went to the emergency room. Anyway, I lost the baby and I was crushed. That was the first miscar. and I never ever expected such a thing would happen. I couldn't sleep and I started trying to figure out why this would happen. Was it something I did? Maybe I was being punished because in my teens and early twenties I did a lot of "wrong" things. I was breaking down and it made me reveal to my husband some of the things he didn't know about me. He was disgusted! I was lost and it made me think hard about my entire lifes choices and reflect on my friends and family and all the HARD things I had been through. Then this thought came over me.... I realized that it wasonly because of HIM that I had made it through all that yuck in my life. HE was there to look after me and I was only a meer human. I had never felt so humble in my life and even though I had not been to church in years and didn't even go much as a kid, I took Lucas to a Christian church in our area on a snowy day for an evening servcie and the funny thing is that they had fellowship that night and asked me to stay and I did. I was saved and I love him and praise hime everyday for my blessing. Love to you Charnel...you just made me cry (again) LOL!
