15-4-2009 - Heartbeat!! RelievedMy mood while writing this blog:
Relieved

I'm so happy today! I borrowed a doppler from my sister in law (logansmommy) and I have been trying to hear the heartbeat since Sunday. We heard it a few times very faintly and it would come and go. So, I was never completely convinced. Well, today I was messing around with it. I no more that put the microphone on my belly and heard it! Loud, strong, and very fast! I quick got my phone out to record it and got it recorded for over a minute! It was amazing! I keep reading where it's "impossible" to find it before 12 weeks, but it's definately not! I am saving it to take to my appointment on Friday to show my Dr in case she can't find it so she'll believe me and schedule me for an ultrasound! Maybe I'm further along than I thought! :-)Oh, and when I timed the beats it came out to 170-172 bpm!

How exciting it is to hear it for the first time! I went to my first appointment today and we could not find it yet- I was really hoping to. Oh well next time. Take care.

Oh that's so exciting! how neat that you can record it and play it whenever you want!
My doctor heard Ryder at 9 weeks so it's definately possible! So excited for you. It's a sweet sound
