21-10-2009 - 1st Doctor's Appointment

My mood while writing this blog: Still in Shock

I had my first doctor's appointment yesterday. They couldn't do much considering I haven't had a period yet. She drew blood. I'll call later today for results/to check my numbers. If they are low that means I'm still very early. If they are 20,000 and above they will schedule me for an ultrasound next week to determine exactly how far along I am. Fingers crossed that my numbers are high! I want to know how far along I am and what my due date is!

I'm still in shock. My emotions are all over the place too. Part of me is waiting for the doc to tell me that I'm not really pregnant. "Sorry honey, the test must have been a false-positive. It can happen." Another part is scared that she'll say I am pregnant but my numbers aren't very high. We all know that could mean I'm very early or that I WAS pregnant but having a miscarriage. SO many feelings! Fear, excitment, fear, shock, fear.....LOL FEAR! I'll update my blog this afternoon after I talk to my doctor. Please keep your fingers crossed for me!!!!!!
